At the heart of London craft bakery since 1996

Pioneers in London wholesale bakery

We have been baking in London since 1996 (did you know…? we were one of the first UK bakeries to produce bagged, sliced sourdough)- and moved to our purpose-built new bakery in Tottenham, north London in 2020

Wholesale customers benefit from free delivery across London, seven days per week- with very low minimum order thresholds meaning that smaller, independent businesses are perfectly placed to take advantage. Please do get in touch with our sales team today, if you would like to open an account; your completed enquiry form will go straight to the inbox of one of our Customer Service team!

Please do remember: if your bakery/ shop deli needs it, we probably bake it!

Sourdough breads (sliced and unsliced), farmhouse loaves, baguettes, ciabatta, focaccia, burger buns, hot dog rolls, pastries (croissant, pain au raisin, pain chocolat -including a large range of vegan pastry), cakes, scones, muffins, brownies, flapjack, pies, quiche, savoury brioche

Early starts, late nights… and slow ferments

At Celtic Bakers, we respect the traditions of bakery: where time, ingredients and method are everything. Starters are long-fermented in a carefully-controlled process to ensure flavours have the time to develop. Doughs are mixed gently, rested for hours on end, then divided and hand-shaped before being proved. Loaves are then baked directly on the stone floor of the ovens, and watched over by our bakers

Ingredients, Ingredients, Ingredients

Always check the label

If it’s sourdough, then it should contain flour, water and a little salt. That’s it

Also: organic. It means everything to us

We are a Soil Association-certified organic bakery, and are proud to work with Shipton Mill, the UK’s leading organic flour mill

Celtic Bakers is proud to work with the Real Bread Campaign

It’s important that when you buy sourdough, you know it’s the real deal
